Lovestruck is a live service app. As an Associate Producer, I helped ship 3 simultaneous titles that optimized paid user selections. My day-to-day tasks included working on production bibles, asset briefs and approvals, organization and scheduling, analyzing user data, story design, script editing, and QA. My primary work went into Ever After Academy stories.

My organizational tasks included organizing file databases, scheduling with contractors and release dates with the marketing team, and updating a production bibles. For production bible tasks, I prioritized making them easy to read and navigate. They were used to keep abreast of changes, communicate between narrative designers, and as an information hub for the writers. The most challenging (but fun) one was creating a production bible for the first project I personally led. For this multiverse special, I had to describe the worlds and mannerisms for characters from over 10 different stories from within the app.

Research/Analysis

My analysis tasks included KPI analysis, story research, and app improvement proposals. Because this free-to-play (F2P) game relied on paid user selections, it was my job to optimize them from both a creative and business-minded perspective. I did daily check-ins on selection performance statistics, made changes when necessary, and wrote research-backed suggestions or notes for the director.

I was heavily involved in both the narrative design and subsequent artwork throughout the entire pipeline. Part of my daily routine included creating or giving feedback on story design, plot documents, and asset briefs for multiple stories or worlds. I focused my efforts on my team, but frequently collaborated with others across the company. I was trusted to make final decisions and quality check my and others’ projects.
